Shedd Aquarium
The Shedd is incredible for both children and adults! The animals are beautiful, and the rehab work they do is so important. Bring a stroller for the little ones!

Little Beans Cafe
This is perfect for bad weather days! You can easily spend hours here while your little ones explore the “stores, cooking, cars” and more! They also have a full cafe! On the other side they have a ninja course that is fun for bigger kids.

Little Gym
If you want to have a regularly scheduled outing, try Little Gym in Lakeview. My nanny kiddo is obsessed and runs around the entire class! Also a nice way to meet others.

Water Taxi
Getting on a boat in Chicago can get pricey. So I took my old nanny kids on a water taxi to Chinatown for a few dollars! They had a blast and it was so fun to see the city from a different view! You can also take them on the L and the little ones lose their minds!

Margaret Donahue Park
This little park is in Lakeview East and is always filled with nannies and their kiddos! If you’re looking to connect with other nannies, try this place! Bonus-they have a splash pad!

The Beach
We lucked out that Chicago comes with its own beach. Kids usually love being in the water and playing with the sand! I prefer to go north in Chicago-near Rogers Park-where you can find more families and less partying!

Maggie Daley Park
This is the park of all parks! If you have older kids and haven’t been, you need to go!! There are so many things to do. Just make them wear bright colors so you don’t lose them! The bean, millennium park and other attractions are nearby.

Lincoln Park ZOO
This place is FREE and so amazing. Go early to get good parking or pay to park in the lot. They have so many fun things for little ones to do
